Prototype #1: the top and bottom slabs weighed 45lbs each…too big, too long, too heavy.
Prototype #2: weighed slightly less but collapsed into thousands of pieces during an apartment move.
Prototype #3: salvaged, strengthened, reduced weight with ‘sheets’ that slipped inside a hollow frame.
